DICKEY-john INSTALAB 700 NIR ANALYSER

The Instalab® 700 NIR Analyzer has a patented rotating sample cup which virtually eliminates problems associated with sample non-homogeneity. The cup rotation is computer controlled, with 120 readings taken at 3° intervals and averaged for each wavelength. The optional liquid sample cup has a non-rotation feature for measurement of liquids and oils.

Completely customizable, it allows filters to be changed to adjust the bandwidth for product constituents, including protein, cellulose, sugar, ash, starch, oil and fat, alcohol, cotton, and polyester. The Instalab 700 is an analytical upgrade from the Instalab 600 series, which allows for porting of the Instalab 600’s extensive constituent library to the Instalab 700.

GRAIN SAMPLE SPEAR

Grain sampling spears are a helpful tool for pulling grain samples from storage at different depths for analysis and for lorry load profile sampling.

  • Large sample 2m long 8-hole sampling spear

  • Holes open spirally, beginning at the pointed spear end

  • Holes stretched along entire length of spear

  • Takes approx. 480g grain sample

  • Combined sample can be emptied through end of spear, or individual samples can be emptied through each hole

  • Easy grip handle makes taking samples easier

EASI-TWIN GERMINATION TESTER

Easi-Twin is a “no nonsense” instrument using a solution of Tetrazolium salts for embryo staining to obtain germination viability.

For use in Maltings and Seed Testing laboratories for:

  • Germination viability

  • Pre-Germination testing using copper sulphate solution

  • Acrospire Profile Testing on Malt

Each chamber is individually programmable for:

SIEVES FOR GRAIN SCREENING AND ADMIXTURE

‍Precision laboratory sieves – conforming to ISO 5223:1999E and British standard BS 6912 or ISO 3310-2:2013.

‍Each sieve is accompanied by certification to the above standards, and has its own serial number.

The industry recommended sizes for sieves for screening and admixture are our standard stock sieves.  Any other sizes of slotted, perforated plate/round hole and woven wire mesh are available on request, please contact us for prices and delivery lead times.

GRAIN SPLITTER

Constructed from stainless steel for visual durability and ease of cleaning, the simple design was conceived for use by unskilled operatives in either laboratory or field environments. The split grains are separated and then collected in small trays that lock into the machine to ensure minimal spillage.

A few simple design elements have been combined here to produce a reliable, functional machine that is both intuitive to use and maintain. Demand, rather than advertising, has resulted in a significant field population. The product has been well proven in many parts of the world.

Each grain splitter comes in a carry case, including a memory stick which contains operating instructions and maintenance, tweezers, spare blades and lubricating oil.
