Grain Test Ltd is a privately owned company that provides analytical products, support and services for the farming and food industries.

With more than 35 years of combined experience in grain testing, Grain Test is trusted by customers to supply and support equipment used to analyse feed, grain, and other agricultural and food products. The company also manufactures and markets robust, reliable, and accurate equipment for use in the field, on farms, in mills, and in laboratories, supported by a comprehensive range of maintenance, servicing, and calibration services.

Based in North Yorkshire, Grain Test serves customers across the UK through qualified field engineers who provide onsite support. Outside the UK, the company works with a trusted network of partners and agents to support customers further afield.

Grain Test is DICKEY-john’s Gold Channel Partner in the UK and Ireland and is also a DICKEY-john Approved Service Centre.

The Grain Test laboratory participates in several ring check networks, including the UK Grain Testing Network, Openfield’s Proficiency Testing Scheme, and Frontier’s Proficiency Testing Scheme.

Ben Burnside - Director & Technical Lead

Ben has worked in the analytical testing industry specialising in the farming & food sectors for over 30 years. Many of our customers will recognise Ben from his years of on-site services & support visits with Farm-Tec.

With a wealth of product and practical knowledge, Ben is able to support the full range of Grain Test products, as well as developing new products and services.

Karen has 25 years accounts experience working with small to medium sized business and has specialised in the analytical testing industry for the past 5 years. Many of our customers will recognise Karen from her years of business support with Farm-Tec.
